Kindergarten Registration

 Helpful Information:

·       You may pick up a registration packet from the school in your attendance area starting March 11^th – March 22^nd.  If you are unsure of your attendance area, you can visit our website a twww.chatham.k12.nc.us, click on  “Central Office Departments”, click on “Facilities and Transportation”, click on “Transportation”, scroll down to “School Assignment Locator” or call Joy Garner at (919)542-6095.

·       Your child’s presence is not necessary for registration.

Bring the following with you to register your child:

·       Copy of Birth Certificate

·       Immunization Records

·       2 Verifications of Residency (with parent/custodian name and address)

o   Driver License or Picture ID

o   Other Examples:  rental agreement, utility bill, phone bill

·       Custody Papers if applicable

1. On Nov. 6, look at your child's report card for an NC Wise number.  (top right hand corner)  This number is your student's ID number.
2. You will need to create an account with a user name of choice and password.
